This website is operated by Julz Dance Shoes. By using this website, you acknowledge that the use of this website is subject to the following terms and conditions.

Please note that by placing an order with Julz Dance Shoes, you are acknowledging that you have read and agree to comply with our terms and conditions, and shipping and returns policies. Minor product design changes may take place and the product can differ in a small way from the picture.

How to order

You can order by email from our web site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply quote the shoe style code, material, colour choice and heel height preferred. Include your customer details, name, phone number and delivery address details. We will e-mail you with your order confirmation after you have placed your order. Men’s dance shoes fit ½ a size small, if you need a UK size 10 you should order a size 10½.

Prices

Prices quoted are all inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices exclude packing and carriage costs. Postage/freight will be charged at the published rates on our website. Prices charged will be those ruling at date of despatch. All previous deals and promotions will end upon publication of the current catalogue/web site. Special offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Julz Dance Shoes reserves the right to adjust prices if suppliers inform us of price changes at short notice. All prices are quoted without obligation and are subject to alteration without notice.

Payment methods


We accept payment by Cash or Cheque - simply send your order by post to: 5 Tadburn Close Chandlers Ford Hampshire SO53 2NF. Make cheques payable to – J Whyte. Goods will not be sent until all funds have been cleared. We can also take payment by online bank transfer or via PayPal. Please phone us to make these arrangements.

Delivery, shipping and lead times

Shoe orders can take between 10 days to 8 weeks to arrive from our suppliers, depending on the lead-time, due to volume of orders already in progress with the factory. Special or custom made orders can take longer. If you need shoes urgently for an event please contact us, as we are always happy to try and assist.

The above times are approximate, please be aware that due to circumstances beyond our control the delivery times may be longer.

Our delivery charges are as follows: (based on Royal mail 2nd class recorded service + packaging + our handling costs)

Orders with 1-2 items £5.00 charge for postage & packaging.
Orders with 3-4 items £6.00 charge for postage & packaging
Orders with 4 or more items please enquire for shipping cost

Julz Dance Shoes deliver to all areas of mainland UK and Northern Ireland. We despatch orders via The Royal Mail on a first or second class service. This is not a guaranteed delivery. We would advise you to insure the package as we are not be responsible for lost packages. Packets/parcels we deliver cannot, generally, be posted through a letterbox, so please ensure that the address you provide us with for delivery purposes has someone available to receive or sign for your delivery. Where parcels need to be signed for, if you miss the delivery it is important you contact the courier/post office within the specified time or the parcel will be returned to us and we will need to charge for redelivery. Whilst thankfully rare, sometimes items do get lost in the postal/courier system. The UK post office does not count an item as lost until fifteen working days have passed. They may then insist on a further period while a search is made for the item. Unfortunately, this means that refunds for lost items cannot be made until at least this fifteen working day period has passed and you have confirmed non-delivery. You will also need to fully cooperate with the post office/courier investigation.

Our Refund/Returns Policy Is As Follows :
We will accept returned goods on the following conditions:

Please note: Custom designed shoes are made to individual order and so cannot be exchanged or refunded.

You may return or exchange any ‘stock’ item. Notice of your request to return an item is required in writing, either by post or by email, within 7 working days from the date your received the item. A Returns Note will be provided on receipt of your notice to accompany the returned item. Reason for returning items must be clearly stated. Goods must bereturned unused, undamaged and unsoiled in their original condition and contained within their product packaging and then packed in suitable postal bag or a box for transport along with our official returns document. We will not replace shoes or items of dancewear that have been danced in or used , tights will not be exchanged or refunded if removed from their original packaging , please check the size guide on the reverse of the packaging to ensure fit before removing. All our shoes come with suede soles. To avoid soiling shoes when trying them on for the first time use a clean soft surface such as carpet or paper (Not newspaper or dance floor). Any delivery shortages must be reported to us in writing within 7 days from the date of delivery, after this time no claim will be entertained.  If exchanging items Postage & Packaging will apply at the published rates to despatch exchanged items to you. Customers will be required to pay return postage costs. It is advisable to return goods on a registered delivery. We will take no responsibility for goods returned to us which are lost or damaged in transit , please ask the carrier you are using to advise on insurance and compensation levels to ensure they are suffice in the event the goods are lost or damaged in transit. We will provide a refund of the item purchase price within 28 days, providing the items are returned as described above.  Shipping/handling charges are non-refundable. Please note carriage costs will be refunded only if the goods are faulty or if we have miss-picked your order.



Cancellations

If you change your mind, you can cancel stock item orders, as long as we have not already despatched it.

Distance selling regulations provide that the customer has the right to cancel their order before their goods have been dispatched from us and include a further cooling off period from the date the customer placed their order, up to 7 working days after the date the items are delivered. Items for return must be sent in accordance with our Refund/Returns Policy. Written notice of cancellation must be provided by post or email within 7 days of receipt of goods. Customers will be required to pay the cost of return postage. Distance selling regulations only apply to products ordered or purchased where there is no direct contact between the customer and the seller, where the customer has not had opportunity to view or examine the goods before making a decision to enter into a contract. This regulation will not apply where orders or purchases have been made ‘face to face’ at either - a store, showroom, office, customers own residence or our mobile sales stall at dance venues.

Please note: Custom designed shoes are made to individual order and so cannot be exchanged or refunded. Cancellation can only take place prior to the manufacturer commencing production. We may request that our customer completes the purchase or compensates for our costs in continuing with the production of the aborted order.

Refund due to faulty items

All shoes are quality checked at both manufacture and again prior to dispatch. Should a shoe be supplied with a manufacturing fault or develop a manufacturing fault during wear then we will investigate this fully. Shoes that have been wilfully cut or damaged in anyway will not be refundable. Upon investigation, where a fault is identified, we will offer either – a repair to the item (only where the cost of repair does not outweigh the cost or practicality of replacement), a direct replacement or exchange for an alternative item of equal value. Where an exchange item is offered or requested of different value an adjustment of price will be required. If a refund or replacement is awarded, we will take into consideration the amount of use benefited by the customer prior to the fault developing, when awarding either a full or partial refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Please ensure the original packaging is also returned in the same condition. Due to the nature of suede soles, please try your shoes on in a clean carpeted area as marked soles cannot be returned.

Force majeure

We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered hereunder that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control.

General

All products subject to availability. We reserve the right to allow substitute stock with slight style/colour variations to enable us to supply you a complete order. However, you will be contacted to confirm that you will accept alternative stock. Every effort is taken to recreate each item, but the colour reproduction is as accurate as modern resolutions will allow. Dance Depot Ltd is not responsible for typographical, pricing or other errors and reserves the right to cancel any orders based on such errors.

Materials

The appearance of colours and textures on this website may be affected by your computer or display and should be accepted as a guide only.

Privacy

In order to process your order we need to ask for your name, address and contact details. We keep these details on file so that we know who our customers are and we can deal with any service queries, returns or product recall notices.

Your privacy is important to us and we treat all information as private and confidential. We will only use information supplied by you for the purpose of processing your order and providing customer service. You may receive emails from our company regarding your current open orders and our newsletter with special offers and announcements. Your email address is used solely for this purpose and you may choose not to receive our newsletter at any time. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only send you further information about our products

We do not and will not sell or release information provided by you to any other third parties, except when in connection with your order to our approved courier, or in exceptional cases of debt recovery or unless required by law. Printed documents are shredded prior to disposal.
For your further security we do not collect or store any credit/debit card details, and all transactions by PayPal are processed by their Secure Server using SSL encryption.

If you wish to change any of your details (address, email address, telephone etc), please email us to advise of any amendments or alternative delivery addresses and we will update your filed order forms.

Complaints

We understand that sometimes things go wrong. We welcome polite complaints as we need to know where, when or how a problem has occurred, so that we can make changes. We handle all complaints fairly, effectively and confidentially. We aim to give you a response within 48 hours. All complaints are dealt with in writing. This gives each party the opportunity to clearly explain and understand the problem and provides time to investigate and offer a solution without confusion or confrontation.  It also creates a lasting record in the event that the matter has to be revisited.


Where a complaint relates to product failure or poor function, we may require that you return the item to us so that we can raise the matter with our supplier. We do not manufacture any of the products offered for sale and do not have direct access to the manufacturer and cannot instruct them to make changes, however, we need to pass on any feedback in the hope that future improvements will be made.
